PCL Centrifugal Compressors
Designed to perfectly meet pipeline applications
Our PCL compressors are designed to perfectly meet pipeline applications in terms of flow, compression ratios and site arrangement. PCL compressors are highly flexible machines designed to cover a wide range of different operative conditions with top in class performance.
The casings are forged with one or two end covers (vertically split) bolted, welded or secured by shear rings; the suction and delivery nozzle are generally located opposite each other to meet station layout requirements. Axial inlet is also available when the pressure ratio allows for a single impeller. The casings are standardized according to four different nominal impeller diameters; each casing can house up to 4/5 impellers to optimize compressor performance. Impellers and stator components design is dedicated to maximize compression efficiency, compression ratio and operating range. Impellers can be milled from single forging or welded. PCL compressors are equipped with tilting pad radial and thrust bearings and dry gas seals system. The compressor performances are optimized for a direct-coupling to a gas turbine driver or an high-speed electric motor.
