Nicola Jannis serves as Chief Business Development Officer of Baker Hughes, a GE company. Most recently, he served as General Manager – Global Business Development, Mergers & Acquisitions of GE Oil & Gas, where he was responsible for global M&A, portfolio strategy development, deal origination and execution and acquisition integration planning since 2006.

Jannis previously worked at ABB Asea Brown Boveri Ltd. as ABB Group Assistant Vice President – M&A Project Manager from 2001 to 2006 and Senior Business Consultant from 2000 to 2001. Prior to that, he was Program Business Controller from 1998 to 2000 and Controller from 1996 to 1997 at Royal Philips Electronics NV.

Jannis graduated from Stanford University’s Executive Education, Mergers & Acquisitions Program in 2002 and earned a Master of Business Administration from Bocconi University in Milan in 1996.
