Our aeroderivative gas turbines are born from market-leading technology developed originally for aircraft. For BHGE applications, the aeronautical engine is modified to meet oil and gas needs. Those types of turbines are the ideal solutions in applications where a small footprint and lightweight equipment is required. Aeroderivative gas turbines are highly efficient and rugged choices for onshore and offhsore mechanical drive and power generation. They are used mainly in pipeline compression, offshore platforms, gas re-injection and LNG liquefaction.
